I would like to think that the experiences he has accumulated along the way (Good & bad) would mean that he has something new to offer Palace -

Brighton is a club that enjoys a massive benefit from the intellectual rights of the Star Lizard technology. Im not convinced that Potter would bring us what we need. TBF to Potter I wonder how many of their recent signings were his!

Bruno Saltor interim coach for now. In my household, we have a recurring silly saying "GET BRUNO!" that goes back to watching the Disney film 'Cinderella' (1950) when the two Miss YTs were small. It's used in the movie at a pivotal moment of desperation and it's invariably employed by one of us whenever a 'Bruno' reference is made in the media or elsewhere, so it's been well-used over the years, be it in relation to Bruno Mars, the Sacha Baron Cohen character, 'Encanto'...etc. Now we have used it once more in light of Chelsea literally shouting "GET BRUNO!" in their own desperation.

Potter and Rodgers would both be better to wait to the summer than go straight into a relegation battle. Imagine if Potter goes to Leicester and they go down, which is possible, they are like us, half a very good squad and some players just not good enough. Potter's stock will be at an all time low. I thought we sacked late, but at least it was before an international break, not afterwards. Chelsea will be after a large international name. All that happens is there will be a large amount of activity in the summer and if we are looking for a permanent manager, then we may be further down the line than we were. Much of course depends on who stays up and who doesn't. I can imagine West Ham, being all over Potter and Rodgers. Hence why I think either would be mad to go to someone in a relegation dogfight now. Wouldn't be surprised if Leicester have to appoint an interim until the Summer. They are not as big as they think they are and from Saturday's performance they look in a really bad way.

Potter and Chelsea was never going to be a match made in heaven. I don't see the benefit of sacking Potter now and then leaving Bruno (!) in charge even on an interim basis. Chelsea will find it difficult to attract an elite name if they can't offer CL football next season. I think Potter will take a break now and not rush into another job. If the Leicester job is there in the summer and they stay up, he could be the man for them. Moyes will leave West Ham at the end of the season, another potential Leicester candidate. I can see Carrick being offered the West Ham job. As for Rogers, he's a decent enough manager but not a top six club contender. If Leeds stay up, he could wind up there if they don't offer Garcia a deal.
