I was Facebook friends with Jamesey. I used to enjoy has jazz and film reviews, which we would talk about, rarely touched on Palace. So I raised a glass to him in Dizzys Jazz Club last night - I’m sure he would appreciate the sentiment and the venue. RIP

Really sad to hear this..We shared many train trips back from Selhurst after the match and it was always good to discuss what had happened and to catch up on news. Jamesey was a true Palace fan over many decades...He will be much missed both for his journalistic prowess and for his loyal support. I really appreciate being able to get to know him.

This is very sad news.. I used to enjoy his articles on here. He always came across as a very intelligent and decent guy.. May he rest in peace.
