I would like to see Edouard as an old fashion centre forward with Olise on the left wing, wilf on the right crossing balls in for him and Eze playing behind threading balls through. To play this style would require a box to box player such as a Jimmy Mac or Connor type player.

I don't think the stat actually tells the full story of how poor we've been over the last dozen or so games. Also remember there being a general consensus earlier in the season that wins against Wolves, Leeds and Southampton owed a lot to good fortune. Personally I think the Board and Vieira both have to shoulder a fair bit of the blame. The running stats seem to validate what the eyes are telling us - - that we're playing table football. That can only be on the manager and coach.

300 minutes no shot on target???, i confess I have not seen it yet, but if Wilf got a goal disallowed at Villa, it must have been on target, if it does not count as “on target” because it’s disallowed, then a shot saved cannot be on target, the target being the goal, not the goalkeeper, just having fun

I wonder about our fitness, for a team with so much attacking talent, we seem to lack energy and quickness of thought going forward. I don’t know about a goal, but when we do finally manage a shot on target, I’m on the pitch Edited by monkey (12 Mar 2023 5.43pm)
