Brentford 0-2 Palace

PV masterclass , goals from edouard and olise ,
First goal scored in first ten mins , control and manage them game and hit them on counter in second half for our second

All negative and relegation talk to dissapear with numerous threads started on “late push for Europe”?
Until he lose 3-1 at home to Liverpool then we are relegation fodder again

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

I'll go for:

An undeserved win.
Or an underserved point.
Or a deserved loss.

I really have no idea these days but we've been scraping a few draws so hopefully we can get a point or points with at least some positive performances that gives us all a bit of optimism for the next few games.

If Vieira and Roberts still believe in their 4-3-3 formation, we will be overrun by Brentford. 3-0!

I wasn't aware that we've played 4-3-3 in recent games. The two heavy home defeats against Fulham and Spurs put an end to that system, I believe. The inclusion of Hughes has tended towards a 4-2-3-1, I think, but then I'm no tactician, so I may be wrong.

For me its a 0-0 as we almost have a team but we waste it with the 3 up front although more down to what we have than how we play them. i would be happy with an old fashioned three up front ie 2 wingers and 1 striker. the striker would be Ayew as he can play up front or as the 4th midfielder.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

If I remember correctly, Hughes has an injury but hopefully our two new midfielders will be bedded in more and might begin to make an impact, and maybe a ten minute cameo from McArgthur?

I’m starting to feel as underwhelmed by Mateta & Edouarde as I was with Benteke. Schlupp knows where the net is, stick him up front.

For me, this one's got 0-0 written on it. I think we can slog out a draw, and Brentford have the form to stutter, particularly in London derbies.

I wont predict a score but its going to be mighty tough. Been mightily impressed with them on and off the pitch. Great manager and scouting system but good form can suddenly come to an end when you least expect it so im keeping my fingers crossed

For some reason, 2-2 has popped into my head. Edouard plays like a different person and one of the new guys to score.
Doesn't sound realistic but Brentford don't tend to shut up shop - so we have a half decent chance of scoring.
A draw won't be a great result but not the worst. I wouldn't like us to lose heavily or unluckily - that could really be damaging.
