It really depends how PV sets us up. Get it wrong and we will lose this game comfortably. Christ we deserve a result for our sanity, but I can’t see it coming here…

They've outclassed us, without winning, the last few times we've played them. We will not continue to get away with it. Zaha is talismanic against Brighton so we need him to be fit.
The reality is that we are treading water or even sinking while Brentford and Fulham have passed us. Brighton are almost out of sight.

Wilf is inconsistent against Brighton. In fact in the away encounters he is usually quite poor allowing himself to get rattled far too easily ( putting aside 2013).

A defeat against Brighton on the back of a lacklustre performance and Patrick Vieira and the club will be on the receiving end of unrelenting invective.

HOL will be awash with nostril flaring diatribe, hatred foaming akin to 'Fairy Liquid'.

If we win, I shall be celebrating in my customary style after a home victory at the Ganges Brasserie in Hove.

I haven’t been in there since October

We have shown against United and Newcastle that we are capable of restricting clear chances, but we need to find a way of creating more. Olise looked like he was playing with a greater sense of freedom without Zaha dictating play and I think the more games he gets as the main man the better he'll get, but we need to be patient with him.

Despite Brighton's form, I think we'll get a draw and I'm going 1-1. Hughes and Doucoure have done a good job of shutting down central midfield and Richards has been excellent since he's come in and is quick (something the backline has missed). I'd like to see Mateta start too as he's a good sort of character for these types of games.

A dominant Brighton performance, fully deserving of a comfy win, but (satisfyingly) ending up a 0 - 0 stalemate.

That's not a bad shout actually.

I can see it playing out more like a match between rivals as opposed to representing 'on paper' predictions and I too see it being quite tight, with a narrow BHA win unfortunately. Let's say 0-1 and hope I look foolish when we run out 3-0 winners. I'm not too fearful however.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

0-2! They score early, we come good 2nd half (but unable to put the ball in the net). That small Japanese player waltz thru and put the game beyond us with a few minutes left.

If we do win, it will probably be one of the flukiest and funniest yet. The Benteke one surely was Shakespeare at his finest.
