Really Id be happy if we show our teeth again, like the other night. Hughsie must start. Whilst I agree I can see he is sending off waiting to happen,

It's amazing how a draw against Man Ure results in an almost total change in our mindset. I want to see what team PV puts out before finalizing a prediction. He said there will be changes on Saturday. I shall be furious if Hughes is dropped for Schlupp and/or if Tomkins comes in for Richards. Having given Will and Chris PL starts last night, they need to be given the manager's vote of confidence against Newcastle where their skills apparent from last night will be much needed. I expect the game to be close as were the two games at their place earlier in the season (although we rode our luck on the league game). If Hughes and Richards retain their place then I think we'll get something out of the game - hopefully a win (1-0?) I think that is a good idea, i would like one change, Eze for Edouard, Can PV go two games without picking Schlupp or Ayew to start, and as for the CF, i would go with Mateta, although its like choosing ear ache or tooth ache. Dear oh dear. Would you go with the same line-up, or what changes

I'd start with the same team except with Edouard up top and Schlupp in for Mateta. The central midfield for Newcastle is extremely energetic and we'd need to compensate for that by having some of our own and I think Schlupp's pace could help. He's by no means a fancy number 10 but today workrate will be what's important against Bruno, Joelinton, Longstaff, Almiron. Guaita

I actually have a good feeling about today, which worries me. I don't like it when i think we will win. I'm not convinced with Guaita this season but he's keeping his place so what do i know. I would probably start the same team as against Utd but with Eze or Ayew in for Mateta in a number 10 role and Edouard up front. Whilst I'm not a big fan of Ayew, his hold up play, pressing and drawing free kicks could be useful against a physical Newcastle team as long as someone tells him to pass the ball every now and then. The stats say he is our best goalscorer
