I predict that we'll still be on 22 points at 4pm on Sunday.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

A loss. Maybe PV will stick 5 at the back again, who knows?

Things will click

We've broadly been playing well, but making lots of stupid mistakes. We've got them out the system and the boys will be desperate to get some points.

2:1 Palace

A lot depends on the team set up by Vieira. If he keeps Schlupp and Ayew it might get ugly. 3-0 Chelsea win.

I think I predicted 3-0 to them and I've seen nothing to suggest we'll do better than that. Our only hope is that they're so fed up with Potter that they lose on purpose.
Will we score? is a relatively interesting question.

The way that we capitulated against Fulham (undeserved) and Tottenham suggests that we need a captain in the midfield and a winner upfront but this might take a while. if we can play as a team then maybe a 0-0 or 1-1 but more likely 3-0

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I can't really see anything but a Chelsea win.

We just look very fragile and unconvincing at the moment ( as we have done for many games this season).

I'd certainly settle for a point now.

I haven't been following potter and Chelsea too closely, but do you all think he will get the boot soon? I always assumed it was a long term appointment...

They got thrashed by Man City the other night. I think they drew with someone rubbish in between - let's say Everton. They lost heavily (4-1?) to Brighton not long after Potter took over. On form, they're not much better than us. However, the reality is their squad is 10x better than ours.
Potter will go soon unless there are improvements. PV might too. Looked at stats about managers leaving/sacked in the Premier League the other day. I expected maybe Watford/ Chelsae to be up there. Actually, we're top of getting rid of managers.

We all know that Palace are God's Gift to struggling teams as witness Forest and Southampton.

Chelsea are getting desperate and are unlikely to beat Fulham on Thursday.

So they will be anticipating our visit to Stamford Bridge on Sunday with relish and I expect them to beat us.

If they don't then Potter's position will seem fatal (and Vieira will get a reprieve)

With all what’s going on at the bridge, this could be our ‘easiest’ game of the next few weeks, but having said that, I still think they’ll turn us over comfortably 2-0
