I was at the game - I can assure you all the Palace team looked gutted with both their performances and result. It could be the ‘reality kick’ they need to ensure we push on and get some more points before the World Cup starts.

PV is doing a great job with the squad available to him…

Maybe this could be our Bournemouth 9-0 moment. Sometimes you can drift a little and think it's all gong well. We had done quite well uo to the weekends match. Now we know there are some issues to address in January if we really want to go anywhere this season.

Think he has forgotten the 7-0 at home to Liverpool under Roy.

We took a few good hidings in Roy’s last year or so, we even managed to get totally outclassed by Villa and Leeds away, much as l loved Roy for what he did for a couple or 3 years and him being a gent, it had got just too painful to watch and once we started leaking goals as well, his time had definitely come, so anyone who wants him back is one sandwich short of a picnic I’m afraid

Bring back Frank de Boer! It makes about as much sense as bringing back Roy at the moment.

Personally, I liked Roy. Yeah, it was boring at times, but he kept us in this division and arguably built the bedrock that enabled PV to have the cash to buy players. I've no doubt that some of our investment came through us being in this league for a good long time, as the likes of Textor haven't invested because they're fans.

The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots

Roy had a far more limited team to select from PV has the best players since being in Prem.

Look at last season Wolves didn't score many but also stopped other scoring which resulted in the high league position.

It's not only one game we have been poor this season and did you forget about Leicester game a team which has the worst record in the league we didn't even try to beat them.

Open style only at the back going forward we are still poor making same mistakes slow build up players holding onto ball too long not getting quick balls into box.

We should be counter attacking teams quickly when we tried to do this look how it works the same with putting balls in box quickly yet we like to play this side to side and backwards passing game which is dull and gets possessions stats up but nothing else.

More excuses from you so we was missing one player who is not a "super star" it would have made no difference the tactics plus selection was all wrong.

This game we should have played a pairing of something like Hughes and Milo also Mitchell needs dropping Ried looked better when he came of the bench the other day why not give him a chance.

The manager is not even trying other players out this is whats annoying.

If the manager doesn't get positive results in the next few games really do need to consider other options (SP appears to like Dyche and we had been linked with him before could be the next manager)

This is absolutely correct and I couldn't have put it better myself and why on earth hasn't Malcolm Ebiowei been given a start yet?

Whilst Ebiowei has looked exciting in YouTube videos and shown some glimpses of magic, with respect, PV watches him daily in training and knows all the players abilities and where they fit into his style of play and tactics far better than you and I. When ME is ready for a start, he will be selected.

Same

Do we know Roy's current situation?

I read that he retired from football management in May 2022 after Watford.

I would be surprised if he is not involved in football in some way.

Anyone who's thinking he should return and has forgotten how terrible we were, should remember his even worse spell at Watford where he continued to make the same mistakes.

He's captain of Lewisham Borough's U'90s 1st XI.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

If we are looking at bringing anyone back then we should look no further than one of our most successful managers on a % win/lose /draw basis ever. He is still in management and available.

Bring back Steve Bruce!

Joe Biden had better hurry up with his move to Catford if he wants to play in honour of his heroes Lee Anne O'Brady and Frank Staplegun.

Ha ha. He's a bigger mercenary than Tony Pulis
