Beethoven's death march would be more appropriate.

Having bankrupted the country in only 20 days how does your Truss glee club look now.

National debt as a percentage of GDP is higher in Japan, Greece, Italy, USA, Portugal, France and various third world countries.

Which means they are in worse shape than the UK in terms of debt, what's your point?

How does that support Steeleye's bankrupt statement?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The annual benefits bill is about 220 billion. I don't blame people for claiming if, and I agree helping people who need it is important, but in most places in the world a large amount of people would have to fend for themselves and use initiative.

I arrange car finance for people with bad credit through sub prime lenders and am genuinely shocked at how much money some people are claiming.

Pray tell

Find it very hard to argue against that stance.

As ASCPFC has mentioned however, it can often take an, or a number of individuals, to ruin a party. I've swayed more towards individuals now as opposed to what now seem very much long lost if not entirely removed ideological identities of the parties.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I am looking forward to pressing the flesh of the glitterati and engaging in discussion.

I am not expecting to hear the 'Archers' theme tune at the end of this prestigious event !

Can you tell us which colour and design of cravat you’ll be wearing to pick you out during the applause from the seals and drones in the audience who voted for the dregs on stage.

I couldn’t vote for this idiot and these fools. I say fools unless it’s pure cheating money onto the rich at the last opportunity, and therefore it’s ‘’ a disgrace’’ as Liz wound put it, but they’ll have their appeal again, just as labour run out of favour trying to please everyone without the never ending pot of money.

How are people claiming benefits able to arrange financing on a car?

Or come to that, able to afford to tax, insure and run a car.

I am truly gobsmacked

I have always disagreed with privatising water. I would happily see rail nationalised if we could replicate the systems in Europe such as Italy or France, but they have outlawed strikes on essential services which Lynch and his outdated cronies would never accept.

You have the ridiculous situation in UK where offers from employers do not have to be put to the membership for ballot so a few self serving union officials control the process.

I still remember as a caveat the appalling service and constant strikes of British Rail, bit I don't remember having to stand very often which I think is a sign of vastly increased usage as the population has grown.

Economically Blair was ok for the first few years then it all went to s***. There has to be a middle road somewhere

The 2008 banking crisis in UK was a result to a large extent of the deregulation that Blair and Brown instigated.

You can see Andy Burnham grimacing during Starmer's speech as he plots his coup, giving Starmer the same look Stalin gave Trotsky

My goodness! I never realised you were that old. Or maybe you're a Timelord.

Tell us about the look Jesus gave to Barabbus

Suffice to say we are not aligned on this matter.
I do not accept such dramatic 'Doom & gloom' chimerical rhetoric.
Clearly I will have numerous discussions with the great and good about recent events.

Here is one of the 'great and good' Tory peer Lord Hannan, on recent events:-

'What we have seen since Friday is partly a market adjustment to the increased probability that Sir Keir Starmer will win in 2024 or 2025 - leading to higher taxes, higher spending, and a weaker economy'.

How utterly ridiculous.

'Let us be clear on this'.

Widely mocked, still shows the tories are good for a laugh, but the joke, as ever, is on us.

Indeed I have perused Daniel's article and of course there is an array of opinions apropos recent events.
Daniel is a cerebrally blessed estimable chap.
