I've become so uninterested in the England team that I'd forgotten the game was on. Flicking through the channels last night, up it popped, and it took me probably 90 seconds to see what sort of game it was and return to flicking through the channels.

I didn't watch it. Becoming increasingly less interested. However, should England have an exciting approach - I would watch. These lot are the equivalent of vanilla ice cream in an Italian Gelato shop.

Time for a radical change.

Sack that dreary, dreadful, boring Southgate and bring in a proven winner, not a loser.

We could do far worse than bring in the England Women's Manager,a serial winner??

Good call. Imagine her in the Gelato shop on special offer. Or even better her goal scorer who stripped her top off.

Ah, but she's got a team full of players who are hungry for their place in the team and will fight to their last breath to win.....

we haven't had a world class player since Gazza, i think Foden and Eze have the Potential to become one, nobody else.

Was really surprised to know that Italy won't be in the World Cup, heaven forbid they have won it 3 times.

Del Piero was a fine player, looking unconcerned about things.

It's difficult to work up any enthusiasm about the international break, just seems like yet another interruption to the PL season.

Yawn.

When people start talking about women managers its time to knock the the whole dreary ,boring concept of international football firmly on the nut .

On the other hand if we played attacking football , which every single player selected does every week for their clubs we might , just might score a fecking goal or two and win a game .

Southgate is too cautious , we need to let these players off the leash and go enjoy themselves .

It’s not that Southgate is too cautious, it’s more about not having the correct players in the 11 or having a balance in the team. I can start with Pope last night and he didn’t have a clue how to play it short or long. Plus those at the back like Maguire can’t play short ball football. We had Saka playing out of position making him look terrible. We all know he is one of our gems but Southgate didn’t give him a chance in that position. As for the midfield, the balance was awful and don’t get me on our forwards where our best defender is Kane? Southgate doesn’t have a clue and needs to go now. Sadly that won’t happen :-(

I suppose it's a money spinner for someone. I don't know what the 'Nations League' is all about but we've been relegated from it. Oh dear, never mind.

I am sure it will be a great comfort to the thousands of slave labour workers who built the stadiums and luxury hotels. Hundreds of them died due to poor H&E but I am sure that will be uppermost in the minds of the players and the Sweet FA.

As for taking the knee I always thought it a complete waste of time in England because the overwhelming majority do not support discrimination. The one place where it might be appropriate is a country that legalises and criminalises discrimination against certain groups so the players and the Sweet FA decide not to do it.

Playing Saka at left wingback, a position he has never played for Arsenal and keeping McGuire when the Utd manager has clocked how crap he is, in 5 minutes, sums Southgate up. Guehi, Mings and Stones play every week, but deemed not as good as Utd reject.

Dont expect any different in Qatar, as soon as we play a decent team, its back home.

the thing is, even before GS was made England manager , I'd have been horrified to see him in charge at Palace.
In terms of a manager, I just think of 'Boro, the most boring god awful team to stink up the leagues.
Hes managed to snatch defeat from a likely victory twice now.
This WC will see a debacle like the old 80s campaigns.
he says the correct PC things , thats all those buggers care about.
the ' show ponys' will run around & skip , old players will scratch their heads & provide soundbites.
