Yes agreed, but of course Brighton have the points in the bag already so the effect on them is less severe, if we can stuff Man U that would be great but I have my concerns on that one! Absolutely agree Den however if we do have a game in hand and not quite in the proverbial due to results, things may seem a little less dire than they would otherwise. Just a spin for the avoidance of all out worry!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

In fairness, if the game went ahead during a rail strike we'd all be moaning about the lack of consideration for supporters.

I don't see why Brighton should be so different of course they are likely to lose their manager in the next few days that has nothing to do with it.

There are a number of factors in play with this ; 1. Sussex Police. Anybody that has been to a Palace match at the Amex will know how incompetent they are. They would have even less control than usual if fans are arriving, unsegregated, by cars/ buses etc. 2. The Amex does not have the capability to handle the increased number of buses, coaches that the rail strike will bring. 3. Traffic on the A27 would be grid locked 4. Parking around the stadium is almost non existent I'm sure that the 2500 Palace contingent would find a way to get to the games without trains running. The problem is with the home support. I can't imagine local coaches and buses could handle the 80th minute exodus.

Even their manager leaves early
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

So train strikes suspended, any chance of game going ahead then? Of course not, they probably won’t have a manager in place

Strikes have been called off due to the Queen’s passing. If the other games go ahead that weekend will ours be reinstated?

Surely if the train strike is cancelled then the game can go ahead. Can a match be unpostponed? I don’t see why not.
