Just had a nasty shock...... finally got a link to work only to see the scoreline 4 - 1!!!

Wilf is so frustrating keeps slowing up play and losing the ball. (wants all the goals for himself only)

How does Schlupp keep being selected at the start is shocking and no wonder other players don't want to sign for the club.

At this rate I can see Newcastle scoring (I am at the game so I do have limited view but from the big screen it looks like they have come closest)

I had not been to this ground for a long time I forgot how big it was.

listening to this on the wireless Newcastle are throwing everything forward, our keeper & defenders are giving their all keeping them at bay - if only we can get to half time without conceding -

corners & free kicks aplenty for Newcastle

One of the (few) unsung joys of Selhurst Park - how close in on the game you are.... rear of Upper Hol excepted.

Quite agree. And every time I see West Ham at home on MOTD, I think how I'd hate to be a spectator there (apart from the obvious reason.

Not sure how it is still 0-0. Our Goalkeeper has been the saviour!

Awful performance - where is our midfield? Completely being overwhelmed…

Time for a few changes…

Newcastle destroying us in their willingness to be first to the ball and move it quickly. It is a miracle it is 0-0 however we had a couple of decent chances.

Changes required if we want to get something out of this game. Eze/Schlupp need to do more in midfield as Doucoure is struggling to do it on his own.

Two of toons best chances came from very soft free-kicks which I thought weren't being given these days? Whereas Wilf got chopped down at the knees...nothing. Almiron and Fraser as usual looking to collect their diving medals.

We have not been at the races again after a disappointing performance on Tuesday. Ayew and Doucouré putting a lot of work in, but everyone else needs to up their game. Mitchell looks injured and I think may not come back on second half. We had a good 5-10 minute spell but aside from that we've been poor and everyone taking way too long on the ball (especially Eze who was guilty a few times of getting caught on the ball and Andersen who has been pretty awful first half). Thankfully Guiata having a good game and Newcastle's new "hero" fluffed his lines when one-on-one.
