It's ironic the Remainers cry democratic foul yet want to have people they didn't elect and therefore can't vote out have power over them. The myth that the EU had “power” is so deeply entrenched in some minds it’s difficult to see how their minds can be changed. Delegation of responsibility is not giving up power! That would only happen if we accepted Federal status and that was never going to happen.

Well, there"s already talk of letting those despicable EU nurses, doctors and carers come back to work in our understaffed hospitals WE, and I had an operation cancelled last week due to lack of staff- but why should we let them back in- we could catch something from them- maybe that disease called FREEDOM - we wouldn"t want that in little britain would we?

I agree with you; it will probably take a long time but the errors/costs associated with leaving will become clearer as each year passes - and they already are. As an aside, I admire your energy/knowledge in responding to some of the extraordinary views that get posted on this and similar topics. Knowledge? Where’s his actual facts on it! Good luck to them. Campaigning for us to rejoin the EU is a perfectly respectable political ambition.

How do you know many have not been politically active, pure supposition, as is your opinion that they see Brexit as a disaster. . It’s an opinion, of course, based on observation and common sense. We will know soon enough whether I am right, as I am sure that there will be opinion polls in the coming winter.

Maybe COVID and a war has something to do with it. But hey don’t let those events get in the way of your anti-leave agenda

The number arriving from Africa since Brexit will probably become a key talking point in months to come. My own observations suggest it’s staggeringly large and are needed to replace all those from Europe who have left us. Denying poor countries their clinicians doesn’t make sense to me.
