If Alan Pardew was still our manager he would sign him.

It depends which Deli Ali you get. he has lost his way and if he got back his hunger hw would be an asset . However for whatever reason he seems to have lost the plot. I am far from convinced he can get it back, he needs to show that he has motivation to get it back.

Worth a go .. strict rules to apply .. once a very good player .. something has gone wrong .. mental attitude to football has changed .. Everton was never a good move for him Lampard was never going to give him a one to one that perhaps he needed to coach him back .. he had and still has to many problems to solve .. I trust PV with any player .. especially to give them the support needed to believe in themselves ..

Lampard bent over backwards to get him signed. Alli is finished at this level.

In the classic `friend of a friend` has told me vain. Essentially, I've been reliably informed via someone who works part time in the medical department at Man City that Ali has gone off the rails.

Apparently, he went to watch one of the City games in the Directors box. Was an absolute ar*e drunk, girls, wrecked the directors box. By half time City had enough of him and wanted him out. He is good friends with Kyle Walker who was asked by the City staff to get him to leave. Walker had to talk him down and take him home. Walker was spotted by City fans leaving at half time and received grief grief subsequently (couldn't exactly tell the fanbase why he was leaving early) reasulting in a somewhat miffed Kyle Walker.
