The woke brigade are the most undemocratic fascists on earth.

They hound people out of jobs, bully speakers at meetings and regularly turn peaceful street-protest into running battles.

Their unwillingness to listen to facts, data, reasonable opinions & the other side of the argument is legendary. They turn a blind eye to paedophilia, censor dialogue, and despise any meritocracy.

They hate : the traditional nuclear family , the nation-state, accountability for lazy feckless losers, and any opinions of a man regarding fertility/childcare.

The "pie in the sky" nirvana they seek ? A wonderful world where everybody has a perfect life and unlimited rights but zero obligations ? It goes against many thousand years of human history & evolution.

I always thought it should be 'Schlong Turpin' however that has been copyrighted by a performance actor from Pennsylvania.

Our beloved 'Old Chap' on here may be in for some grief at this rate.

Fahrenheit 451

Just a story or glimpse into the future?

Some are banned from colleague's and others have trigger warnings.
However they can't teach about particular books because some little boys and girls - yes I know they are 18+ - won't like it.
Therefore even if just one doesn't like the content then it is gone.
Ban by stealth!
Quite pathetic.

When I was young it was older people who set the agenda on what was threatening, dangerous or transgressive - now I'm in my 60s it's younger people who make the decisions.
If the concept of safe spaces is that appealing then by all means live your whole life in one but why must everybody do the same?

It's a curious situation when students go to university to study literature but are then dismayed at the books they have to read.
Seems like wanting to be a surgeon without ever seeing any blood.
