I remember Eric, and Postman Pat Brown up front, and a guy by the name of Bridges at full back. My first game was a 2-4 home defeat to Sutton United in November 1963. It started snowing in the 2nd half.

Brown played up front alongside my barber, Danny Mac(Allister?). The right winger was a complete lunatic whose only interest was out-running the opposing full-back

It was a tense final but all credit to the Bromley boys in winning it on penalties.

Andy Woodman has interesting history with Palace from sharing his Palace apprenticeship with Southgate to cleaning Alan Pardew's boots.

Good luck to them in their Football League adventures.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

23k

I'd guess 4k Moors, 4k Bromley, 12k palace, 3k random other.

Every other conversation was palace.

There were also -- and this was really really weird -- clearly groupies. Every 100 or so people would be some really really made up, fairly attractive, sexily dressed young women who'd gone up in pairs or small groups.

Like you never see at Palace.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Remember Harrogate had to play in Doncaster briefly while they replaced their 3G pitch a while back. Could we see Bromley borrow Selhurst Park if they can't re-lay Hayes Lane in time for the season?

Maybe Croydon athletic. Not sure if that’s league standard.

Or AFC Wimbledon?

Alan Smith was spotted in the "directors box" when the trophy was presented.

Nearest EFL grounds other than Selhurst Park are The Valley and The New Den. But Bromley have better relations with Palace.
