Big deal over nothing. Freedom of speech or expressions exists. Or at least it should. If Kouyate wants to support a team mate who's under fire, he should have the right to do so. Everyone has a different set of belief systems.

Agreed.
Have we not been lectured over the years regarding accepting the beliefs of Muslims? Well, now we have Muslims standing up for their beliefs, but as these do not fit with the lefts views on other issues, the players are castigated and there has been calls for them to be sacked.

I would also to know what opinions PV has made that he do not cont, as stated earlier in this thread

Aslong as he doesn't go out to harm or hurt anyone in the rainbow community then why should he support or agree with them, his life, his beliefs.

Fair comment. As he kneels before a match I trust he wouldn't object to any white player not doing so because they don't believe in the reasons for it.

And don't mention Wilf. For a start, he's black and secondly he has always said he supports the reason for kneeling but just finds the gesture itself as demeaning.

This is actually not a 'left' thing anymore. As gays have been freed to live their lives in public they no longer need to hide under that umbrella and proudly flash their pink pound. There are plenty on the right who are angry with this intolerance, rainbow laces and 50 pence pieces notwithstanding.

So support of LBGQ+ is now compulsory is it? I think I understand what the L stands for, and the B and the G ... but I have absolutely no clue what a Q is and a + could be anything. Someone told me the + stands for paedophiles, beastialagists and necriphiliacs, but they might have got that wrong.

Yes, most of us know that. Strangely, though, those upholders of Senegalese moral virtues like Gueye and Kouyate seem less bothered about it when the chance to earn millions in a country where homosexuality IS legal is on offer. Morality when it suits you, eh? Such is the modern footballer.

I've read many ridiculous posts in my 5 years as a HOl member, so well done for eclipsing them all.

Such paradoxical clashes (and there are many others involving various combinations of groups) are inevitable...and actually quite entertaining!

Hmmm defend the completely innocent and peaceful Islam or do the same for the LGBTQ+map community...

Meme worthy & a complete non story.

Happy to watch the left eat themselves over this one.

I have to admit, it is nice to see white, heterosexual males not being the target of hate this time or painted as the villains.

I think many will lose their raison d'etre if more of this occurs. It can be nice when you're dissatisfied with your own life to pin the existential blame elsewhere.

I suspect, and my experience would tell me, that there are many who thought 'White men' were the only obstacle to living in some sort of Utopian paradise of a society, the harsh reality of the world may start seeping through to these lunatics.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Take the new contract off the table for me, Palace have always been a tolerant club, or more tolerant than others at very least.

Have your beliefs, sure, but this is something I feel he should have kept to himself and kept out of football, especially in this day and age.
