I was thinking 1-1 since we're so evenly matched but with Wilf playing like his old self and Mings long overdue for a howler I'm thinking 2-1 for us.
Success will lie to you but failure always tells you the truth. |

Completely off topic, but I absolutely hate Mings, it's sad but I really do To call an average player would be generous, commits fouls persistently in an attempt to counter his uselessness and always seems willing to pick a fight which comes across as 'I'm tall, you should be scared of me'. One person I wouldn't mind seeing smacked! Whilst I'm off topic, come on Chelsea (I don't say that often)!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I sometimes look at the other team’s forums and their predictions. Generally they are fairly cautious against us, but Villa fans are predicting 3,4,5 nil home wins. They ain’t that good. And I can’t stand Gerrard. As someone once said I’d LOVE IT if we turned them over. 1-2.

It'll be a tight and unexciting game I think. Neither of us have any real incentive for a win, so it's 1-1 in my book.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I'd settle for coming back for a draw after being three goals down

And I can’t stand Gerrard. As someone once said I’d LOVE IT if we turned them over. 1-2. I understand your point but I've never actually minded Gerrard. He was an outstanding player and one thing that endeared me more to him was on his final game for the scousers when we beat them and he came on the pitch after for his big goodbye he got presented with his award and gave it to some guy to hold and said to him 'Let me just say thanks to the Palace fans'... Alot of us had stayed behind out of respect and it might sound like something small but he really went up in my estimation when he came towards us and clapped us as he didn't have to and could quite easily of just lapped up the glory and ignored us.. Also my Dads side of the family are staunch Rangers fans and his assistant Micky Beale is someone I know from years back playing football for Banstead Athletic so I guess there's a bit of an attachment there as well!! Anyway this is a hard game to predict but I'm gonna go for a 2-1 win for us!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Maybe there IS an incentive for us: to finish above Brighton. I never feel confident we'll win any game, my negative nature. This one is no different. But I have an inkling we might just put on a show and win well.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

Isn't the fact that the club get an extra 1.15 million per league place incentive enough to put in a meaningful shift when required until the end of the season ? Originally posted by Eaglehamster

I don't usually do predictions but since PV says he'll be giving youngsters game time over the last three fixtures let's have a pleasant pipe dream; Villa will seize an apparent last gasp winner after a close game to go 2 1 up around the 90th; Rak Saki will score to level in extra time and put Jairo in to score an unlikely winner with the last gasp. Drink more Heavens Gate.

Dont forget the 97th minute Scott Banks free kick right into the top corner from that Mings foul on Michael Olise right the edge of the AV box making it 1.3. Originally posted by Charles
