Leicester away is no easy fixture. Getting beaten there by a single goal is no shame.

Chelsea was a disappointing performance but I'd put that down to tactics and team selection over motivation. It was the biggest game of the season.

Having to travel up to Newcastle a few days after the big disappointment against a team who have won their last 5 home games was always going to be tremendously difficult. Did anyone expect anything other than a defeat?

As fans, I suspect most of us are now on the beach as there's nothing to play for anymore. Can't blame the players too much if their motivation has dropped a little. They've had a fantastic season, so would be a shame if we petered out. However, does anyone really care if we finish 10th or 15th?

We didn't even have a chance against Chelsea, because of a ridiculous line up and pathetic substitution's, against Newcastle poor selection and poor substitutions, Why does Ayew have to automatically come on when Olise goes off, Mateta could have come on, Edouard left, Wilf Right, but no same old same old

Agree with you there Lanzo , we were beaten before we kicked a ball .

With Chelsea having a midweek fixture on Tuesday - we should have gone on
the attack and the set up was too negative. Maybe the media talk of the Palace v Liverpool semi upped the expectations.

Think we were over confident after the Arsenal result going into the Leicester game - and should have been a wake up call

Indeed not, however Leicester didn't play at all well. We obliged them by playing even less well, and then we continued the theme for the next two games.

PV was furious when Newcastle scored and found it hard to hide this. Not like him. He explained afterwards that he will not tolerate a drop in standards which we saw against Newcastle, especially first half.
He comes from the Wenger coaching mould and Wenger was never about the unbeaten run, always about the how do we respond when the run is over.
I think we did have a bit of a cup hang over though I truly believe heads will roll if we are not bang up for Leeds.
