A worse bunch of Entitled, ignorant and classless fans you won't see anywhere. Last night's performance and result provided some light relief though. Together with the confrontation between Azpilicueta and some supporters at the end. I was ' debating ' how quiet they were on Sunday with a Chelsea fan on Twitter. He said it was because Wembley isn't special to them as it's like '' just another home game ''. That explains it then as they don't make any noise there either.

I'll never forget when they applauded Arsenal at the end of that game in 1989 at Anfield, when they lost the title on goals scored.

I want Chelsea to win you cannot believe that and also believe yourself to be a real Eagle. Do you think fans of Man City want ManUre to win silverware. Just because of an affinity of geography ? just because they all live in the same part of New Delhi ? scummy club chelscum Edited by PalazioVecchio (21 Apr 2022 2.58pm)

Can’t find a Chelsea sale thread so here goes. Looks like Roman might scupper the sale because he won’t get his money or ‘loan’ back, which is what I said his invented accountancy term might have meant when he pledged whatever it was to Ukraine. It would be hilarious after they’ve been singing his name in an attempt to be more shocking than millwall.

A Kevin Keegan quote springs to mind.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I think this is spin by Roman's team to get a better deal for him. According to one paper the government is panicking, why would they? If it did go bust the government will simply say it was his fault as he refused to sanction the proceeds going to a charity. Still the FA needs to put a deadline in place after which Chelsea would not be able to compete e.g. August 1.

It's difficult to get at the truth regarding the sale. While there is virtually radio silence from RA we are relying on here say and speculation. Unusually for this Government they do not seem clear about how they intend to proceed to conclusion. However, I don't think the Government will allow Chelsea to fail. There's a certain irony in the fact that the £1.6 billion ' loan ' is proving such a sticking point. Because that ' loan ' surely enabled Chelsea to avoid any FFP issues and funded the club over a period of time. The prospective new owners are investors and as such are unlikely to either want to or be able to replicate that way of conducting business.
