I think he’s worth holding on to with the 5 subs rule coming in because he offers something different.

I would like to see Edouard at our club next season.
A player who appears two-footed and can score with both feet.

That's a very good point, hadn't factored into my thinking!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

He’s also a good option from free kicks; his penalties tend to be little dinked affairs which look great when they come off but terrible when they don’t.
Not to compare them in class but he may be our Berbatov type player.

Something must have happened behind closed doors. Talentwise Edourad is our best striker - wrong attitude, said something to the manager? I don't know but really hope the ex-Celtic striker is with us next season. Add to that the young striker from Derby and we can finally say bye-bye to Tekkers.

I really do hope we see the back of Benteke this summer. Apart from his first season with us he has literally stolen a living off of us. Sadly, somebody somewhere at our club was stupid enough to keep giving him a new contract.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I believe that there is every chance he will depart in the summer along with Milivojevic,McArthur and some others in their 30s who have hardly featured this season.

I think that this shows that we need a good striker next year to achieve our ambitions. JP is the best we have at present by a mile.

a) He's really not.
b) IF he is, it just shows how dire the need is to upgrade.

I get what you're all saying...he does miss some sitters. But mostly on the floor. All opinions aside, if we're going direct and launching balls and set pieces into the box...Benteke is the biggest threat we have. It's pretty hard to deny that.

When was the last time Benteke scored from a set piece? Genuine question.

JPM is the best we have currently got leading the line at the moment. That does not mean he is a world beater.

The lesser of 2,3,4 or even more evils.

He would do a job in the Championship. Mitrovic getting 40 goals this season shows the immense gulf between that division and the EPL. Have a bit of nous in front of goal and some acceptable assists and you can run amok there.
