This is all starting to look very Palace, just as we are starting to establish ourselves in the Premier, things fall apart. Unfortunately I have seen this many times over the years, if the Blitzer and Harris dump us, who knows what will happen.

Unfortunately I have seen this many times over the years, if the Blitzer and Harris dump us, who knows what will happen. As I said earlier, I'm not too worried. It seems massively unlikely that two shrewd investors are going to rapidly bail on an asset that has considerable market value without a plan in place, which suggests to me that at least some quiet marketing has probably already been done. This would have happened with the full knowledge of Parish and given that we presumably all trust that he has Palace's best interests at heart, and he seems pretty happy right now, I suspect there's nothing to be too worried about. Furthermore, Palace iS an attractive investment. We already know plenty of parties want to buy a PL club, a PL club in London is prime real estate, and we're in a Cup semi-final with all the profile that entails, have a playing squad that is packed with valuable assets, and more. It makes sense to be circumspect but if Harris and Blitzer do move on, I don't think we'll be short of suitors. On top of everything else, we're a well-run club which is more than you can say about a great many others. Plus, with so many bids for Chelsea now prepared, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that one of the losers there may just turn their attentions to Palace. If all you're interested in is Chelsea then obviously that won't happen but if you're interested in buying a PL club and Chelsea is simply your preferred option, it might.

Don't think they'll succeed with the Chelski bid, but they have shown their true colours in respect of Palace equity.

What happens if they cant find a buyer for the shares

Hopefully Textor, with his enthusiasm for the club has some wealthy mates that could be persuaded to jump in when we need them.

The downside of losing Harris and Blitzer should it come to that is that they are experienced sports investors. I'd much prefer to replace like with like as opposed to just bringing in money per se - ie someone who is au fait with the cycles of sport and not a bandwagon jumper.

As Syd has said, even if their bid should fail will they still be going ahead with the sale that they've probably got lined up (or at least sell some of their shares)?

Does anyone know how much Blitzer and Harris paid for their shares, and have they put in any additional funds in to the club, Texter's movements seem to be quite transparent, Blitzer and Harris`s doesn't seem to be so
