I always had my doubts about Fatima Whitbread.

For someone who implores others to see their drift to rare political territory in a generous and benign light it may not be fair to repeatedly link gender or sexuality differences to an intention towards children. Being that you acknowledge having gay family members be aware that at this point you've now both publicly refered to people like them as "faggots" and have also absurdly linked lgbt types to some kind of inevitable stepping stone to pedophilia. Does that tally with your feelings towards the individual? Perhaps that's an important questions for you to ponder.

In my experience almost everyone I've ever met in my entire life, regardless of their sexual or gender identity abhors adults interested in children - as they well should.

I find the whole trans thing a little weird and ill fitting in certain areas of life as I made clear, but at the same time we all walk a different path and the dignity of the individual holds enough value that it's deserving of protection from attempts to unfairly vilify to this extent. It undermines and trivialises child sex victims to use abuse as a tool to attack a completely unconnected group of people, or to infer that those with gender issues are pushing towards such aims and beliefs.

I'm pretty sure in the big picture that womens sport will remain so despite the current thrashing out of how to work this... The desire to be 'fair' in life is all well and good, but where someone with, often a male physique, upends decades old records, that itself clearly isn't at all fair. Sport is always open to cheating and trying to push the boundaries in multiple regards, but whether it's drugs, or a physique that is not an option for a biological woman, it's important to at least try to maintain the integrity of the sport.
