Huge game / day for us.

I’m not going anywhere near this one for predictions…on this thread or the predictions league. I’m nervous even just thinking about it now.

COYP!

This

Although would definitely settle my nerves with an early goal

He is almost always incorrect about Palace (mainly down to the fact he pretty much always has us to lose)

By reading and sharing his predictions you are perpuating this idiots time as a "pundit/expert". Hopefully if enough people ignore his views the bbc will eventually realise that nobody cares what he thinks and he knows no more than any old duffer sat in pubs across the land talking s***.
I predict a Palace win 2-1

Palace 2-1 Everton. Defending very deep in the last 15 minutes to protect the lead. A nerve shredder.

I think that a shock could be on the cards with Everton winning 1-0.

Why do you think that? Or are you just being contrary as usual to get attention?

I think if PV puts out his strongest side and they all play to their ability we'll win. Reinvigourated Wilf, Olise, Conor, and I'm not ashamed to say it as I used to coat him off, Kouyate, all certain starters. Kouyate seems a different player since winning the African Nations, he's doing the rough and tumble effective stuff I knew he could., PV must have had a hand with the coaching, the same goes for Wilf.

Firstly, I do not participate on HOL to "Get attention" and those who truly know me would scoff at the accusation that I am in any shape or form an "Attention seeker".
"Contrary as usual" - I repudiate the accusation that I am a contrarian, purposely taking an alternative viewpoint.

Secondly, I just have a 'Feeling in my water' about the score and of course I really hope that my fears are not realised.

I heard Shlupp is out (build up of yellow cards) and this has dented my optimism a little as I think his energy over the last few games has gone a little under the radar.

Might this be an opportunity for Eze?

I really hope the players will be as revved up for it as the fans will be. I think this will be a lot more difficult than some of the pundits are predicting.

We’re a decent side on our day so fingers crossed!

My apologies Elphers, i stand corrected, you are spot on . . . [Link]

How long have you been watching palace? I just wondered because any sort of experience would tell you that feeling over confident of a palace win against an out of form team could have you heading for a massive disappointment and Willo may well have it spot on, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve walked away from selhurst after a lame 0-1 defeat when I was sure we were going to win

But having said that, I do fancy us for a 2-0 win

I did say in my subsequent post that if we play with the desire and ability that we do possess, then we have every chance of a win. I've said before, no game is easy, so it comes down to skill and energy most of the time.

Me too, unfortunately. My head tells me we should win this as we are at home against the team with the worst away record in the PL this season, we are in form and have a better team BUT I keep seeing an early Everton goal and us somehow failing to retrieve the situation. Like you I hope my water has got it all wrong and we win.
