Making a different point.

The United attack under OGS was a s***show with little evident coordination beyond giving the ball to Bruno Fernandez. They actually spent a good deal of their time alternating between counter attack and possession with few players having a consistently identifiable role in attack. Very hard for a young player to adapt his game to a new skill set under those conditions. Mitchell has had a wholly different experience under PV.

Prepared here to credit the superior coaching and tactical outlook at Palace. This is particularly clear as PV had a clearly defined strategy for Ward and Mitchell pretty much from the get go. I’m not sure you could one United fan who could say the same for United under OGS.

I don't see what the former Arsenal manager has to do with this or how he reminds you of the poster?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Monsieur Wenger is a man of erudition. Maybe the person responding to the comment from Senor Alicante views that poster in the same light.

I hope so Willo, I thought he was accusing him of being a Frenchman at one point which is a ghastly personal insult!

Nonsensical post.

Try this one T****r, a few more variations.

Sticking to the Subject of fullbacks.

What's the view on how Tayo Adaramola compares to Tyrick and AWB at the same age.

To be fair, you have been confused lately with your left and right.

I think the time has come to see him now, only 9 games left, he needs a 15/20 Mins in Wilfs position, being right footed, he and Olise could be an option, next season, at some stage.

As you found out Rak Sakyi is left footed.

Another diamond on the left-back! Have no worries if some stupid offer too good to refuse came in for TM - Adaromola would slot in perfectly.

This for me really is a case of horses for courses . When in that distant past , when we set up camp in own penalty box and relied on the electric pace of Zaha and Townsend to get us up the pitch players like AWB ,Tompkin and Dann were the best defenders on the planet .(cough)

Move them 20 yards up the pitch aka the Pat Vieira system and those same players become liabilities .

We have removed the liabilities , Manchester United paid £50 million for one .lol

One of the revelations of the season for me has been the way Ward has adapted to the Vieira style of play ,yes we need an upgrade but looking at AWB playing for utd I honestly dont think he would get in our side any longer .

Oh and Mitchell , good isnt he .
