There is also the nightmare scenario we lose Wilf, Olise rumoured release clause triggered, conor returns to Chelsea and two disillusioned players Edouard and Eze push for moves and even a possible big bid for Guehi.
As for all the others:

Apparently, Abramovich used to deposit regularly into Chelsea's accounts. As it stands, there's slightly less than £20million in there, the monthly wage bill is £28million. It would be the understatement of the century for me to say I am not too sure of the situation and am not very well versed on the sanctioning of Oligarchs, the financial implications, and the running of football clubs. I don't think Gallagher will stay, as much as I'd like him too, it may even be impossible if the sanctions impact their ability to loan a player out, but the situation certainly does seem far worse then I originally (and ignorantly) assumed. We may well see Chelsea 'downsizing' as a club and who knows what implications that will have. Perhaps CG will actually be far better off as a footballer, financially and otherwise, staying at the Palace if at all possible. Just wishful thinking on my behalf perhaps and post most likely in need of clarification from somebody more knowledgeable of the situation, or just generally with an IQ above the diagnose-able 'simpleton' level. Edited by Nicholas91 (10 Mar 2022 1.00pm) Why on earth woul Putin sanction RA to give Chelsea away. More likely he will have to sit on hi frozen asset and watch it go down. The next stage will be non payment of concil tax which gives the borough the right eventually to auction the asset. Ân empty Stamford Bridge.

Also, shocking for me if true (but again highlight my own general ignorance) the wage bill is £28million but not a month... a week! Shows how little I know but if correct that's f***ing ridiculous and far worse than I imagined... and then imagined again!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
