Doubt it, assets seized, players are assets, therefore can't be sold as per the norm. Also don't forget CFC itself is an asset. Yeah but they're going to have to reduce their wage bill significantly. Though they won't get money for him leaving (not straight away anyway, the money will be frozen until their ownership situation gets sorted), they also will reduce a big financial burden by selling off/releasing players that won't be a part of the team.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Whatever happens, CG will be forced to think long and hard about where he plys his trade next season. Or maybe not so hard, as he is a good fit here - and likely to gain international caps in the process. Interesting times.

I'd argue the chances of Gallagher staying have just shot up. Firesale at Stamford Bridge this summer? Right now I imagine Chelsea are unable to sell anything. When they are in a position to do so I can't see that they'll be anxious to sell an England player on a cheap contract with a 5/6 year contract. Logically they'd hold all their academy heroes and sell the likes of Lukaku That would shave the wage bill and bring in the bucks. If they get round round to selling the likes of James and Gallagher then that means they are looking at a liquidation scenario imo.

Maybe in relation to Reece James but it might also be very tempting quickfire £xm for someone who has never played for their first team? It's possible an administrator might want to find new clubs to stop loanees coming back wherever possible at the end of this season and adding to the wage bill. They have a lot of players in that camp. Only big thing where they might want to keep the likes of Gallagher and James is their wages will be less than the likes of Havertz and Kante (for example).

Ashley Cole, Batshuayi (first loan), RLC, Sakho were all great. Didn’t Sakho win player of the season despite only being with us for half of it?
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

The players could be sold as assets by any administrator to raise proceeds to continue the running of the club until its sold on to a new buyer. Same thing as has happened when we bought Luke Plange. I very much doubt whether Chelsea will go into Administration as that benefits no-one, the club isn't insolvent and the lawyers would have a field day for years to come

There is one. Not too long ago. He made an outstanding contribution to our Play-off push. And was equally amazing when Palace won the final in 2004. Nico Vaesen. SJ had to extend the loan when Palace made the Play-offs, as he was only contracted until the end of the league season. SJ paid up, and it was worth it.
