Can't understand why Hughes is on the bench, has been our most consistent performer week in week out. And Mateta.....

Hughes is good at keeping the ball moving with short passes but otherwise, he is very limited. No speed, goal threat or ability to play incisive passes. He had two chances to clear the ball against Burnley and that cost us two points

I agree Mateta is clumsy and not that good as a hold-up player. However, he did take a swing for the goal that got deflected to Kouyate the other day. Would Benteke have done the same? Eduoard has been most effective when playing on the left. His height advantage over full-backs and dribbling ability comes into play. Unfortunately, Wilf plays there

And Mateta almost scores

It's taken me about 25 minutes to load the website today but now I'm here I just want to say this has probably been the best half of football I've ever seen us play and Michael Olise is an absolute f***ing genius of a footballer.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Seems to have been a problem with Hol today - Webmaster informed and is working on it!

Colossal performance by all in that first half, 10 shots, 6 on Target, could have been 4 or 5 if not for there keeper, and we have found a Captain in Guehi, he is Paddy all over, lets hope we keep it up in the second half COYP

Superb first half performance, each and every one of them. Could’ve (should’ve) actually been three up!

Big trouble getting HOL to open. From looking at the club site we've clearly had the better of the game so far.

Keep it up in the second half lads. At the moment we're ahead of Brighton in the table

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Even Wilf's been working his socks off today - looks like the Wilf of old and fighting for every ball
