Q. What is going on PV? A. We are in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and 11th in the table with a relatively 'new' squad, following a summer upheaval of an ageing squad via the usage of limited funds. Conclusion. Chill.. and stop with, your bo**ocks.
You seem to think sitting in 11th place in the toughest league in the world and in the quarter finals of the FA cup is acceptable in a managers first season with new players and style of play. You are obviously a bit delusional and not in tune with the OPs views. You need to start banging on about how crap Benteke is and how Eze is the greatest player to grace Selhurst Park.

Go easy Painter I've not taken my pills yet today! I've even yet to throw a dart at my photo of Benteke but give me a chance!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

What is going on with Lanzo? People are getting sick of you. Stop starting nonsensical threads. Send your CV to News International if you want to dish up headline grabbing rubbish. The majority of us on here are behind Vieira, even if we too want certain players who miss out to get more of a chance.
I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry. |

whilst some of the initial points are a little strange there is some logic for the thread. In January Edouard was flying, yet now he can't even get a 10 minute cameo off the bench. The last 4 or 5 games has shown some confusion with the forward line up. Against Chelsea i could see the logic, however, after winning at Watford i was very surprised with the line up for Burnley. If he didn't want to play a target man (Tekkers scored twice up their BTW) then surely Edouard was the obvious choice. For me Eze is still finding his way back but a start v Stoke seemed logical. Wilf we know can be very hot and cold. I personally would have subbed him yesterday as he was clearly off the pace, maybe at half time after that stupid clash with the defender a few minutes before (he clearly hasn't learnt from the Spurs sending off). Then there is our slow starts to games. This has happened repeatedly under PV. He called it out yesterday, but the slow build up from the back is contributing to this. You can't have it both ways.

All of my points are very valid in my opinion, and will pan out as it does, i have a Nostradamus intuition, which i hope is completely wrong that we start next year without Wilf, Olise, Eze or Gallagher.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

While some of the OP’s opinions may seem extreme, it’s not to say there may not be a kernel of truth in some of them.

Your opinion and your ‘Nostradamus intuition’ may well end up to be right. BUT people just don’t want to hear it all the time. Why can’t you just enjoy the ride at the moment? We’ve just got through to the quarter finals of the FA Cup and we’re mid-table in the league. Edited by monkey (02 Mar 2022 2.56pm)
