Many years ago it became apparent during the film that I was on a promise and rather than watch the film - we left and great fun was had by all involved.
Much more fun than the film that's for sure

And how many was that??

Completely justified.

Just after halfway there were a few unforgettable nude scenes with Elle MacPherson.

i once got dragged to a Woody Allen movie. Nearly gnawed my leg off in boredom/irritation.

turgid pretentious bourgeois overly-wordy arrogant dogshyte.

hey Woody , lets all masturbate on how intelligent & cultured you are by micro-analysing the significance of that cheese sandwich on the table.

and sexist drivel most of the time too.

what kind of a freak will marry his own step-daughter ?

I agree completely. Everyone desperate to "get it" when in reality, if you're not upper class New York Jewish, there's nothing to get.

Reminds me of when Dennis Pennis stopped Tom Cruise (I think it was) at a premier.

Denis: Tom your last film...I was glued to my seat.
If I hadn't of been I would have got up and left, it was rubbish.

Once took my kids to the cinema as we were all board, nothing really jumped out at us so we decided to watch the Ricky Gervais film The invention of lying.

Think we lasted about 15 minutes before we all decided to go bowling.

He has made both masterpiece and what you describe. Occupies both ends of the quality spectrum with little in between.

I thought this film was brilliant but it didn't even make its money back in the cinema. So all pretty subjective:

do not trust Rotten Tomatoes. To watch the movie below (John Carter) is akin to getting waterboarded at Guantanamo.

I reckon Rotten Tomatoes gets Trolled by the corporates, to big-up a crap movie.
