Willo, Stirling and Jacob Rees-Mogg! What a delightful image of yesterday's England.

3 men in a boat, drifting gently down the Thames in a boat without any sense of direction, purpose or expectation, tipping hats to each other in mutual admiration, whilst condemning anyone without their myopia.

But I'm not sure which would be which.

And maybe the Youngs brewery shires so they've each got a high horse to get on.

Thanks.

Always good to know which dismissive fence you sit on.

Complains of yesterday's England.

Moves to Cornwall.

Its like one of those embarrassing fights you see in the pub. 2 old boys way pass it squaring up to each other and hoping that somebody will actually break them up before they get hurt. If they do start fighting it's like watching a slow motion boxing match, swing and a miss.

Love you guys really.

Never had a physical fight in my life. I think that anyone who believes that disputes can be settled with violence is an idiot, so I always avoid it.

Believing yourself to be "macho", which some here obviously do, is far from a strength. It's a very obvious sign of a significant weakness of the mind.

I admit I don't have an image of Stirling wearing rouge.

Being 'It's a Knockout', surely it was the 'Mini-Marathon' as opposed to the 'Fil Rouge', which featured in 'Jeux Sans Frontieres'.

Probably not the best BBC 2 series ever but will still run for 10 years.

He's a crap action hero. It's not 300 anymore, more like 300 pints last weekend and a few takeaway Currys in a mate's house.

Was not expecting that one.

Did enjoy this post.

Yesterday I had the temerity to take a Stirling link.

'Putin speaking now'

Not really, its a right wing American news channel.

Vladimir Putin as a topical example covering both paragraphs.

I only said some of it must be true. Ruling out short and ugly is fine.

I don't remember Gabriel singing it's a knockout. Did it turn out that anyone was a paedo or is that 70s/80s TV a safe space?

Why would one boat need to be in another boat?
