If you count crossing the canal to get to the car park beside the ground, then yes Stoke is next to the water. Not the prettiest ground to visit. The surrounding Stoke area does make Thornton Heath look like it is run by the National Trust, so nice for the Stokies to get a day out. Only drawback for me is that Selhurst will be filled again with families, girlfriends and friends of freinds. Upper Holmesdale yesterday was a constant flow of people going in and out during the match for hot dogs, drinks and Pringles. Group in front of me played Hello Kitty games on their phones throughout the first half and left after 75 minutes. Hey ho!

I like that Viera is taking the cups seriously though. I look forward to seeing him at the quarter finals

Why on earth are the ties being played mid-week and not on a traditional weekend? Is this more devaluing of the FA Cup? Yes it is

Basically due to the WC being played in Nov/Dec, next season is starting early to accomodate the winter break, plus the fact, they gotta catch up with all the covid cancellations. You mean the WC that, when given to Qatar, we were assured it would be played in the summer in air-conditioned Stadia? Why not play a round of PL games midweek and not devalue the Cuo? Something to do with other outlets, other than Sky having the rights?

Joke City!! Happy with that, the draw is opening up for us nicely and hopefully we can slip through under the radar like we did in 1990

Guess Jack Butland is happy with the draw! But looking at the draw, no PL meetings (except Norwich to Anfield). Rigged, or...?
