His contribution to Gallagher's goal vs Man City told everything you need to know about Olise's talent. The way he so nonchalant planted the ball on a plate for CG to score our 2nd goal at Ethiad.

Love watching Michael play and he is an absolute steal at £8m.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Yep, eagleman, I have voted for it, but I must say that Armstrong's goal, which is top of their poll at the moment, is a cracker.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

He is a wonderful talent. I'm glad that Vieira is doing his best to manage expectations from fans and the press. Although high quality, four of his goals and assists have come against Millwall and Hartlepool, right? Still, he's clearly a fine young player, whom we're lucky to have signed to a long term deal. Now if only we could find clarity about how to pronounce his name properly! All the announcers say uh-LEE-say, but my schoolboy French suggests it should be uh-LEEZ. I keep listening for Vieira's pronunciation, but so far no luck.

Well JRW2, I agree with your response to the point I was making about his sad countenance (blimey, I'm sounding like Willo) the questions put to him were indeed inane. So, as you say perhaps he just doesn't tolerate fools gladly. Mind you, inane interviewer's questions in general would make a good topic for a thread! Someone's relative has just died so "How do you feel?" A89M reminds us about his reaction to Gallagher's winning goal against City, and I do indeed remember his exuberant celebration. Anyway, fact is, we're all thrilled that Michael Olise is a Palace player.

He's incredibly miserable which doesn't make me warm to him as a personality - he's like the polar opposite of Bolasie who couldn't stop smiling. Got to agree to an extent with the quality of the interviewers questions. He's a young lad, probably nervous in front of a camera so should be asked simple open questions. Needs some media training. Needs to work on his defensive game. He's looking promising but is not yet the finished article. Would select Olise and Ayew over Wilf currently.

Personally I love his interviews. So refreshing to the usual stereotyped answers. Same with how he reacts to scoring.
