I suggest anyone with appropriate feedback regarding today's pathetic refereeing performance also writes to referees@thefa.com

This is the same Ref that awarded Brighton a penalty when McArthur made a wonderful last ditch tackle 1-0 (before VAR arrived) but it was still easy to see in game time and then after that awarded them a corner when it was as clear as day a goal kick which they promptly scored from, he was a nightmare that day all game ..this Kevin is not a friend of ours. VAR was brought in to help refs with obvious mistakes, it wasn't brought in to create its own.

No mate you are not a bad looser , i am still fumming . From the start of the match today you could see that Friend was going to give us nothing . We was mugged robbed and then to ad insult to injury he and VAR shoved it up our arses . Their first goal was a foul their second was off side and dont even get me started on the penalty . There was deffinatley something going on . whether it was corruption or a betting scam or Scummerpools millions working their magic or they dont want City to turn it into a one horse race so early in the season or just dont like us , i dont know but its not fair and just for our players who ran their hearts out today or the fans . This game should be examined and pointed out to the powers that be that it was the height of Refree and VARs bias, and they should be held accountable they have got away with this sh1t for too long . Same ol Hitler dictatorship refereeing from the same cvnts week in and week out. Its time for change ! FFS in what other country would john moss be a pro ref he is not fit enough to take charge of a sunday league match , he would be killed . Its just not right and could be the difference between staying in the league or relegation . vvankers.

Apparently Pawson on VAR advised Friend, Jota would have got to the ball!! Yes but only when it had reached Thornton Heath High Street. Ffs was never going to happen

You are right, but we were awful in the first Half, god knows why we are so bad at the start of games Probably because the line up wasn't the best. Schlupp isn't a centre midfielder. Eduoard is better centrally. Mateta is tosh.

I definitely need to get a life. It's seven hours after the event and I'm still fuming.

Who needs enemies with Friends like Kevin?!?!? Never liked him refereeing us at SP. Always seems to give decisions against Palace. Today was shocking. Should send that woman who is investigating Boris after him to check who's pulling his strings. Still angry too!

I am absolutely seething, still, an hour after the game. Am I just a bad loser? Or was there something corrupt going on today? Surely Kevin Friend and Craig Pawson should be held to account and VAR should be scrutinized? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then chances are, it’s a duck. With Manchester City unexpectedly dropping two points yesterday, there was only ever going to be one outcome today. The officials bent over backwards to ensure Liverpool won, and the Premier League got the result they wanted to maintain interest in their product for at least another couple of weeks. Having a title race that was all but over by the end of January just wouldn’t have been good for business. Friend and Pawson should be held to account, but nothing will happen. As far as the Premier League are concerned, they did exactly what was expected of them.
