VG any day. You don't want a keeper with mental problems. One of our best ever was as mad as a box of frogs . That said VG has done nothing to lose his spot but get injured .Butland has improved with games though , its a close call and I would be happy with either .

I expect this summer he won't continue as our number 1 and that's why we can afford to give Butland a go until then, to see if it works out or not...

A tricky one. Ultimately it has to be whoever combines best with the centre halfs to make the perfect unit. Personally I prefer a goalkeeper who comes off his line to gather crosses and commands the goal area. I wonder what the centre halfs think...

Think we’ve had a few minor disagreements. Nothing major. One private message in 2015. I’ll leave it now, as before you ran off screaming to the mods and I got carded. A genius decision today PV !! Reckon he knows more than you Stop sh!tting your pants, this is the bravery you need to transition into a ball playing team. e.g. not have a back five that panic and go long whenever pressured Maybe he picked the guy that is better with his feet, that helps us keep the ball and build attacks? Why people want a keeper that just lumps it every time is beyond me. Lets aspire to be better?

Personally I prefer Butland but they are both as good or bad as each other with little to choose between them.

Rarely comes off his line and is rooted to his line for most corners. As MOTM in the last game i would have played JB yesterday, although doubt the result would have been any different.
