If Ward plays like he did at Brighton, Robertson will have a field day. Plays too narrow cannot pass and no pressure on their full back as he does not get forward. Best chance is to stand Olise on the hallway line out wide and play the long ball over their high press.

You might be right Lanzo. Regrettably I don't think we'll see your team or manage to beat them, as much as I'd want us to. Doubt PV will start Clyne or Mateta.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

He did have a huge role in our goal though with his great run and one-two with first Gallagher (I think?) and then Mateta. Clyne hasn't looked that great when he's played and will be rusty. Until Ferguson proves himself ready or we sign someone else I don't see Ward losing his place, especially as he is one of our more experienced players.

No Mane or Salah is huge, but our midfield may get bullied without Kouyate. I really hope we give it a good go as we won't have many better chances to beat them and I really hate Liverpool. 2-0 Palace.

At least Mane, who must score against us not matter what sort of a barren run he's on, will not be playing. Lot of respect of the guy but sick of the sight of him!

Remember we played most of Man Ure's under 23 team last game of the season, the youngest starting line up for them in Premier League history and we were easily beaten 2-0. Might not go the same way on Sunday but will be a tough match even if they are very much weakened. Tekker's had our best chance on that day and missed. Suspect this might be more likely than a rare win but hope to be proved wrong. COYP !!

No, we didn't play Man Ure on the last day of last season. It was Liverpool and as if my memory serves me right, Benteke was absent through injury and it was Andros who had our best chance.

We played well in 3-0 loss at Anfield but got undone by set pieces. If we can defend them well ( we looked shaky again at Brighton ) and not conceded to many we might get something from the game.

Sorry forgot to put in season, 2017. I was trying to say that even a weakened team from a top team is never easy. Best example I could find.
