Huge numbers singing Eagles while nobody's lips move. It was ever thus.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Love Millwall away, proper little ground that can be intimidating if the home crowd can be bothered (although all too often they aren't). I imagine we will be given the top tier only, which is around 2000, I think. I have never had problems getting tickets before although I suspect it will sell out quickly as it's been a while since we played them.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

One thing is for certain - we will not be playing on the same day as West Ham!

A midday kick off on the Saturday or Sunday would be the sensible thing to do. So I think we can rule that out

I was there for this one: I remember trying to creep away afterwards without getting assaulted or worse. Clearly we managed it/

Would be nice to get revenge after 37 years So was I, we went through all that mayhem at their place and the team let us down in the replay at selhurst, typical palace When I say mayhem, I mean me hiding behind the biggest copper and fiercest looking dog I could find

Edited by Wippa (07 Dec 2021 1.57pm) I remember when your attendances would be a few thousand higher against Palace, yet only the hardy souls in the away end. I always went in the home stands - didn't used to like the walkway gauntlet on the old ground. When Millwall scored I remember not much celebration from the area I was in. Probably about half Palace, not in colours anyhow. You'll probably find the away end full this time, but plenty of Palace will be amongst the home support. There are a few Palace with Millwall mates alright. I'm not one of them. Nothing personal above the usual rivalry, of course.
