Bernard Miles getting the news his wife had been killed in In Which we Serve.

Jack Nicholson tearing into the barkeeper in The Last Detail.

The President’s phone call to the Russian Premier in Dr. Strangelove.

Even more brilliant.

Anyone who hasn't watched 'In Which We Serve' and 'The Way to the Stars' should do so without delay. (Trivia: Joyce Carey - Bernard Miles' character's wife in the former, is also in the latter and is brilliant in both).

Arch Stanton.
Also the end gun fight.
Must’ve been a tricky phone call for Eli Wallace’s agent.
“They want you for a part in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”
“Great. Which part”?
“Errrrrr…..”

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
