I have loads of half-empty packs of small (decorating) paint brushes. Because it was cheaper to buy a pack of a range of brush sizes than to buy the large one you want/need. Why does anyone need brushes not much bigger than a biro ?

Back in the early 70's I was chatting to this girl when she asked me if there was a Durex machine in the Gents. "Yeah if you have any change I'll go and get some for you" She walked away, and only on my lonely journey home did it dawn on me. The next day I told a couple of mates They were still laughing three months later
