I have no evidence for this but... Seems a conveyer belt of head coaches. Sean Derry succeeded at u23 and hS moved up to first team coach. Paddy Mac did great at U18 and took Derrys place. In this scenario I see Derry taking the top job after Vieira moves on. Why am I saying this? Because I see Jimmy Mac joining this small group of ex players coaching the club. It seems to fit our happy community model. Why would Derry be moved up to manager? How many times has a coach been promoted to manager, apart from being a stand in ie Millen. I would of thought Osian Robert’s being assistant manager has more experience.

Jimmy Mac has certainly benefited from being released from the shackles imposed by Roy, and also being able to rely on Gallaghers energy alongside him. He's always been an intelligent player and that's shining through this season. I definitely think he has a future ahead of him as a coach if he chooses to go down that route.

He carried an injury through the Wolves game and was walking very badly at the end of the match.

He was definitely nursing it in the Wolves game. Here's hoping Hughes can come in and play well.

The volume of rumours and from so many sources causes me huge concern.

Mac's supposed injury isn't listed(yet) on either EPL Injuries or Physioroom sites, just our normal 4(Andersen, Eze, Hughes & Ferguson) but, the 'dark side's have a few pages of it, saying he could be out for approx 3 months.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

A member of a Palace Facebook group that I belong to claims to have spoken to Jimmy Mac last week. He said his hamstring was '' a bit tight '' and he may miss the next game.
