They are playing a different side with a different approach, the game will be much different from the previous two we've had with them.

Brighton have had one tough game at home to Everton so far and got well beat. They fluked the win against Brentford who should have taken a few of the chances they created.

Then today VAR came into play and they got an undeserved win. They are riding their luck atm. Under the floodlights at Selhurst Park I’m hoping their luck runs out.

Agree, today they were extremely fortunate.

Hope we give them a good hiding but its not going to be an easy game for us.

They have made a decent start and Potter does seem to have them winning matches that last season they might have struggled in.

Yes, they have probably had an easier start than us and may be in a slightly false position but no games are easy in the PL.

The teams they have played are currently 6th 9th 11th 12th and 19th and between them have won 9 games.

The teams we have played are currently 1st 2nd 7th 8th and 9th and between them have won 15 games.

I would substitute the word 'definitely' for your 'probably'.

Having said that it will be a tough game because they do look a better side this year but then, so do we.

The previous four!

Although I’d take a similar approach if it gave us the same result on Monday!

I’ve only just seen the Maupay incident leading to their penalty. How the f*** was that given? He was pulling Vestergaards arm down so naturally his other arm would be in and outstretched position.

I really do think the people using VAR this weekend must have been pissed or on drugs!

We'll smash 'em 18-0.

Edouard with 2 in 31 mins and Benteke with the next 16 over a period of time.

That and the ridiculous Ndidi disallowed goal. MOTD2 clearly showed that the rules regarding ‘Offside’ hadn’t been applied even remotely properly. How is a review system, which is what VAR is, still getting it SO wrong?!

Considering that we have played the top two sides away we are in quite a good position

Brighton will be confident which can count for a lot.

As VAR goes that was possibly one of the poorest weekends the system has had. The 2 x Ronaldo decisions looked like nailed on pens for me as did the Tekkers obstruction/ trip.

The Ndidi one that was chalked off was incredible, but the first was a possible obscuring the keepers view.

I think the people using the VAR technology, must have one eye on p*** Hub at the same time….

We'll take this, I'm sure of it.

We are riding this horrible run of fixtures better than expected. 3 points here is important to keep the confidence up and keep us away from the bottom, knowing that when the fixtures ease up we can have some fun

Will be really interesting to see what team PV starts. You'd expect that team selection should be more attacking that it was for Liverpool away.

Brighton have been very fortunate this season but one could say they were very unfortunate last season in a lot of games. They seem to be getting the bounce of the ball so far this year and and winning by the fine margins.

I am very confident we will beat them as we are a much better side than last year and they are pretty much the same.

This should be the most interesting game that we have played against them in the Premier League.

It won't just be one team playing a passing game.

My biggest concern about them is from set pieces. Dunk and Duffy are big threats and so far this season, our defending from set pieces has been unimpressive.

I think we carry a better goal threat from open play though, and we are capable of winning this one.
