Does it have to be when playing for palace?

If not I'd go with edgar davids in his prime.

Otherwise I'll go with Patrick Bamford as he could fit in really nice right now.

Pleasing to see Mike Elwiss getting a plug from the cognescenti.
I'll have to be self effacing only in the sense that Mike didn't have the chance to play at the highest level although those who saw him would have few doubts that he would be able to cut it. I suspect that Lombardo is the best player we've ever had, but in view of the chronic performance of our forward line, we'd have to send for Dave Swindlehurst circa 1980, or Andy Johnson.

IMO we need two upfront. So either Ian Wright or to play on the right Peter Taylor. Played for England when we were in Div 3. I think.
