I wasn't at Selhurst today, but judging by the critical comments on the match thread from some of you about Wilf's game it does seem like his attitude hasn't improved.

Patrick should take him on one side and make it plain that, unless he cuts out his petulant behaviour and concentrates on playing the quality football we all know he's capable of, then his days at Palace are numbered. Maybe the Chairman should tell him the facts of life too.

He's not doing himself any favours with his approach to the game, but what's worse he's not doing CPFC any favours either.

I'm not sure how that would work, given that he wants to leave.

Awful today, should be sold, but i don't think anyone will buy him.

Outplayed by Ajer says it all.

I don’t think he’s lost a yard of pace, looks like 2 or 3.
His performance matched his attitude today, abysmal.
The “he’s just to good for you” , song , is sadly , now a thing of the past.

Was thinking exactly this during the match. Sadly he could be past his best.....hope not though.

Disgraceful attitude today. Not playing well is one thing but the constant whingeing, moaning at his team mates, refusing to shake the hands of the opposition is quite another. For the first time today I felt we'd be better off without him. PV should bench him for a couple of games or so and let's see what happens.Enough is enough.

Wilf’s talent is undoubtable, but we are seeing more and more performances like today. If he genuinely believes that he is top drawer he needs to find a way of imposing himself on the game and making a difference. Playing up against Ajer should have been a fun day for him today, but I cant remember him beating him.

We shouldn’t expect him to be on fire every week, but what’s disappointing is that even if he isn’t on form, we have to play him as we don’t really have any other options. Lets hope we get a few reinforcements in, and that PV has the balls to sub him if its not working.

If he wants to leave then we should cash in. The trouble is no one wants him. Other teams don't view him with the rose tinted glasses that most of our fans do. He's not as good as 1) he once was, 2)he thinks he is 3) Brentford's right back.

Well past it and needs dropping after today's effort (or lack of it).

His attitude is awful.
It has started to become more and more about him, which is a shame.
His attitude today was appalling.
In the second half, at one point, more intent in complaining why he didn't get a free kick and losing the advantage , than pushing on and carrying the momentum in one attack.
Constantly moaning at his team mates while being one of the least effective and poor performing players on the pitch.
I would love to see his stats today, I am pretty sure the keepers were the only 2 players on the pitch that covered less ground.
He will always be a cult hero, but not worth his place if he just sulks around the pitch all game .

I agree with this. I am sick of the sight of him at this stage. Offered nothing today and appears to have lost all his pace.

I totally agree... Some are still making excuses for him after today saying 'oh it's hard for him as he's double marked, triple marked blah blah blah'... Well not today he wasn't.. He just looked totally uninterested in anything apart from arguing with people.
His touch and decision making was terrible. He looks slow and unable to take people on. It was a stroll in the park for that tubby full back marking him today.

Brentford closed us down quickly and I thought fought very well, they fully deserved to beat Arsenal and get their point today, Zaha's pass to Conor Gallagher's best opportunity could quite easily have won us the points today and teams fully understand how to wind him up and in doing so stop us unfortunately.
Zaha doesn't just get incredibly frustrated with the opposition and officials, we need to hope Eze comes back soon and also pray that Olise is as talented as him because Zaha needs the encouragement of more young gifted players around him.

I've always made excuses for Wilf - but now I think he should just be honest and hang up his boots. I hate to say it but I believe he has lost his passion for playing.

Wilf should've at least been inspired by Macca, our top player, today.

I bet he was involved in all our best bits of play today.
