This health app now seems to be the least of my worries. Having seen the club news it seems that all tickets will be digital now and not the old fashioned card version!

First cashless bar, now this, I don"t think they want us anymore Erith.

As a member of the E400 club from the other season I can be forgiven for agreeing with you on this.
I can't see what's wrong with having the old plastic card but apparently it doesn't fall into the Premier League rules anymore.
I'll phone up Box Office on Monday and see if they can do something for me. If they can email my ticket on a match by match basis then I can print them out.

My fiance looked on BBS and Facebook and a lot of other fans are angry about it all.
Some have pointed out that other clubs like Everton (albeit for a fiver) have the option of the season ticket card so P'ship regulation bit is rubbish.

Another own goal by Parrish I'm afraid!

As an oldie I prefer hard copies of everything rather than digitally on my phone. As a frequent flyer I always print out boarding cards etc and I would certainly never dream of taking a mobile phone to a football match as I would be worried about either losing it or having it stolen.

In answer to a previous question, once you have requested the covid pass online you can request that it be emailed to you so that you can download and print it at your leisure

the NHS app is a really easy way to get your vaccine passport/proof verified.

i got it sorted as i thought they may have asked upon entry to my local non-league team rugby town last week but nobody bothered asking! didnt even have to check in anymore, if they cant be bothered for a crowd of 200 i cant see it working for a crowd if 40k

Yes I just saw this. Not happy about all this digital stuff. What are the new PL rules because I haven’t seen them anywhere. What happens to those fans who may not have smart phones and young children going with parents?

Someone quoted Everton (I think) on the BBS where they stated that the new change is to do with the Premier League pledge to cut back on plastic blah blah blah!

They can do that by letting us re-use the card we already have then!

they could start by not using single use plastic glasses in the stadium.

Don’t tempt fate! Knowing Palace they’ll be serving drinks in paper cups next week!

Northampton Saints RFU do this, you 'buy' a solid plastic cup for £1 & when you go for refill you get given another one & yours is the washed etc. At the end of the match/when you leave, you take your cup to a collection point & get you £1 back, or you can keep it till next time.

Works.

How will Brighton comply, nothing but plastics as far as the eye can see?
