Benny knows how to score there and is on fire, I would give him the nod.We just have to feed him.

I'm sure Benteke will feature but I don't think he has the minutes to start but we'll see. I reckon Lanzo's line-up is pretty close to what we'll see start.

0-2 Palace. No logic behind that just a feeling in my gut. Although that may be wind.....

After all what did Chelsea do last year apart from winning the EC Cup? Feck-all.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

They should beat us, but I have a sneaky suspicion we’ll get a 2-2 draw.
First few games always difficult to predict.

Kante out is great news and Ziyech was looking as if he'd be a real danger - so much more confident than I was

2-2

After tomorrow's game, I think we will understand where we should have heavily invested pre-season. We will carry on where we were last season, no real goal scorer! I really do hope I eat my words and eat humble pie!! Missing out on AA was a disaster. We were hearing, he loves Viera, he's on his way to Palace, deal done, next thing he has signed for Southampton saying what a wonderful club it is!!!

Possibly. Time will tell. Let's see if he can fill Ings' very big boots. I have my doubts.

Think we're gonna get smashed 🤪

Given the amount of players out, I fear this will be a grin and bare it faze for a few weeks.

We will slowly come good though, it's just going to take a while.

The best we can hope for is that they are disorganised and not ready for season start due to busy international summer and the game thebother night, which gives us more of a chance.

I'd settle for witnessing a new positive approach to our football that is a sign of what's to come. 2-1 at best, 1-1 if they have a mare.

I'd go with this too. I'm not expecting a win or anything of the sort but I'd like to see some good play out of us. If we get that I'll be happy.

Palace are odds on to lose against Chelsea and will have a tough game against a confident Brentford next saturday A tough baptism awaits Viera however he is a tough cookie and given time will get things right

I think we're gonna get battered. Irrespective of tactics I don't see where any threat is coming from.

I'm picturing a 2-0 win to a very strong Chelsea side but will be happy as long as we put up a fight and get at least one goal.
