I've just been onto Facebook and sent a message to their page asking if they would be interested in this, and starting the applause - Iv'e also posted a link to this thread, so they can check out what's being asked.

pax3908, i remember this well one of the lads lived near me in Penrith Road off of Northwood Road where i lived I was also at Beulah Road school in 61

I remember this so well.

I have always had the enduring image in my head of that picture showing the coffins laid out in the hall - presumably shown on national news at the time.

Were your classmates mostly Mill or Charlton mate? And can"t forget their was always a few kids back in the day with Leeds on their shoulder sports bags!
