Goddards Pies of Greenwich.

Theyre the pies Palace use in hospitality & for us plebs with the leftovers. You can order them online & they obviously deliver. Fantastic flavoursome pies.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

If you're going to eat, you might as well eat as best as your budget allows. And it's OK to indulge now and again.
It's a very long time since I ate in a restaurant, thinking about 4 years ago in an Italian.

I've got fish fingers and chips in a little while, but those hand made Yorkshire pies also look like another great comfort meal.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Do Goddards Pies of Greenwich make the pies we get on concourses in selhurst with inferior fillings or something?

They’re pretty good, as long as you take the pastry top off or don’t eat it for 10-15 minutes so you don’t burn your mouth badly. I burnt my lip once eating one too quickly. Amount of beef (slow cooked Chuck steak or whatever is used) is random. Had one with one piece in once.

I’ve discovered the best fish fingers, made by Young’s, in Tempura batter that’s textured like small breadcrumbs. Damn they’re good. Their lightly dusted Basa flavoured with salt and cracked black pepper or Sicilian Lemon are very good as well. Regularly on special offer.

The Temple Bar in the Walworth Road was cheaper than that.

I went in there once. It was like a Village People convention.

It wasn't when the strippers were going full pelt.

Get yourself out to the Dragon In Tallaght, much more authentic than temple bar.
