Which? recommend a 43" 4K HDR Smart LED model It is not the latest but has Freesat as well as Freeview This is what I am getting as it is the right size for my room. Presently I have a 40" Samsung which is 5 years old and OK but doesn't handle dark shades too well.

At the time I looked at quite a few LED screens and didn't like them because fast moving people blurred at the edges and I couldn't sit and watch football or cricket with blurry bits in it. I ended up buying an LG OLED screen but that's not relevant to this thread as it cost considerably more than the OP's budget but it shows how important it is to look at the screen you want to buy to make sure that it's suitable for the purpose that you want. No point watching a demo of slow moving film from a hard disc if you want it to watch action on Edited by Midlands Eagle (27 Jul 2021 7.11am)

Just make sure you don't buy one with built in ads. Most annoying thing ever - and the direction things are heading unfortunately.

Try Costco, they had a couple of good T.V's, Namely a Samsung 55" 4K UHD T.V. for around 370 something plus VAT...

I daren't even consider booking anything right now in case 'something changes'. Still, that has acted to the benefit of many a British seaside town so far .
