Another Sunday signing perhaps? In any event I'd prefer him to Kabak even if he comes at a premium. Had him as just about the class of the CBs in the PL last season outside the big clubs. Originally posted by HerneBayPalace

I’ve read the deal it’s closer to 18m but with some potential add ons which of course every deal has. I’d be very impressed with this signing because this lad is effective at both ends of the pitch and a leader as already pointed out.

Fingers crossed. If we get him I don't think we need Cahill and maybe that is why he hasn't signed back on. At his age Cahill will want first team football if he believes that we are signing 1 or 2 young centre halves playing time not money might be why he is leaving?
