Good luck to him but definitely not worth his £60k+ wages any longer. 58 premier leagues apps over the last two seasons returning 2 goals and 6 assists. You can argue his defensive discipline and work rate have been good, however, his output has in terms of numbers aren't good enough. Added to this, he is now over 30 and has lost his burst of pace. Another very sensible piece of business by Palace in this window. The offer on reduced wages was rejected and we have not been bullied into over spending on a declining player.

I am ready to be corrected on this I dont follow Everton & their transfer dealings except reading the headlines - but haven't they bought quite a few expensive players in the last 3 years ? I dont remember them selling many - Surely Andros wouldn't be first choice there,

Bargain for Benites, he remembers Andros from Newcastle. First choice for us in the last game against Liverpool. Bet he scores against us......

He isn’t approaching the peak of his career. He’s well past his peak and now a long way down the decline. Replace these players well and we’ll be addressing our problems properly.

Just been on a few of the Everton fan sites, and to say they are underwhelmed would be an understatement. Gotta feel for him, going from Palace where we were used to his performance levels, over to Everton where they are waiting to slaughter him.

Before the summer started, I would have expected Andros to be one of the players we would retained. However, the window has started better than I thought with Olise and Guehi. I should be confident but with so many positions still to fill I hope this one doesn’t come round to bite us !! Lookman would be a great and even more important signing
